Chapter 20 and Sunday, November 24 Summary

Erin is at dress rehearsal for the play. She plans on sneaking out after the opening song to finish some of the work she has to do on the Intranet pages and then sneaking back to say her one line. When she arrives in the I-club room in her corn costumer, the kids chuckle, but Tyler and Mark both say they need her help.

Jilly tells Erin she thinks that Mark is losing interest after two weeks of going out. Jilly also announces that once they break up Erin can't be friends with Mark anymore. Erin and Jilly get into an argument. Jilly says that Erin has to choose between her and Mark. Erin declares that she will no longer be Jilly's puppet. Jilly picks up her things and leaves. After she's gone, Erin sobs.
