On her blog, Erin makes a list of the reasons she thinks Mark is her friend and a list of the reasons she thinks he might be using her.

Erin and Jilly are in Jilly's room waiting for Mrs. Hennessey to take them to the mall. Jilly says she called Erin's house on Saturday and her dad said she was playing basketball with a friend. Jilly thinks the friend is Rosie. Mrs. Hennessey interrupts the conversation and drives the girls to the mall.
