Naomi and Melvin

Naomi is a yellow frog and Melvin is an orange frog with a bowtie. They have become close over the course of this series, and they usually appear together now. Neither Melvin nor Naomi work on their comics in this novel, but Flippy has signed a contract for them to publish a graphic novel. They both tend to be selfish and bossy. They are willing to break the rules, but they demonstrate in this story that they also have a conscience and a good heart. They are typical youngsters in some ways.
