Chapter 13 Summary

In Block E, Rebecca worries about Karen, fearing that this mutation of the T-Virus may transform her very quickly. After David completes the blue series, he is awarded with a keycard that will grant them access to the lighthouse. Steve suggests that the lab is likely in the lighthouse, so John urges the team to the lighthouse. Rebecca almost hopes they find Dr. Griffith so that John can tear him apart. Deciding Karen deserves to know, Rebecca tells Karen that the virus may spread faster than normal so they need to know about any physical or psychological changes. Karen asks them not to let her hurt anyone, and awed by her bravery, Rebecca assures her they will find a cure, hoping she is not lying. David is torn up by guilt as he leads his team up the sharp incline toward the lighthouse...
