Chapter 2 Summary

Chris is upset that David wants to take Rebecca with him, and David explains that he wants to collect solid evidence on the T-Virus and he knows it will be dangerous. Chris, Barry and Jill insist on going too, but David already plans to take three of his team members. David thinks Chris, Jill and Barry should stay in Raccoon City to learn about Umbrella's connection to the local police and to contact other S.T.A.R.S. that might help. If Rebecca agrees, he and she will leave for Maine tonight and can go in at dusk tomorrow. When David tells them he knows about the lab in Maine thanks to Mr. Trent, Jill is excited at the mention of their mysterious benefactor who told them about the Spencer estate.
