Chapter 13, A Girl Who Knows She's Loved! Summary

Patrick does not leave Tyreelin because he receives a letter from a secret admirer that says: 'I love you - you know me.' Braden is immediately aware that the letter is from Jojo Finn. Although he is not interested in Jojo, the letter flatters Patrick.

Irwin, Charlie, Patrick and Jojo go to the town of Caven to see the Plattermen, a band. Patrick eyes his secret admirer throughout the evening. The group does not make it to the Plattermen concert because they get into a bar fight with some bikers, who, after realizing that Patrick is a man, decide to "Kill the hooring nancy queen!" Jojo, however, protects Patrick, fighting off the bikers, who eventually lose interest. Patrick is infatuated by Jojo's heroics, and he chases after Jojo when Jojo...
