Honeycutt Property
The Honeycutts live on a farm in rural North Carolina. As the novel opens, Leroy, Myrtle, Ann Fay, Ida, Ellie, and Bobby all live there. Myrtle spends a lot of time caring for the house, but Ann Fay prefers to work with her hands with her father.
The Hinkles's House
The Hinkles have always been very welcoming to Ann Fay and others. When Ann Fay, her sisters, and Junior come to their house, however, after Bobby gets sick, the sisters close the doors to the Honeycutts out of fear of germs. Still, they leave newspapers on the steps for them.
Wisteria Mansion
Wisteria Mansion is a place on the Honeycutt property where Leroy has helped Ann Fay and Peggy Sue create a cut out in the vines that they consider to be their mansion. It is a place of wonder and of beauty, and eventually Ann Fay...
