Chapter 51-54 Summary

In chapter fifty-one Richard is fighting and sets off the trap that Zedd created. From outside, Zedd and Annalina watch the explosion but are unsure what caused it. Nathan has disappeared and Annalina can find only his collar. She refuses to free Zedd until he helps her find Nathan. Holly goes with the other Sisters of the Light.

In chapter fifty-two Richard and Kahlan go through the sliph back home and Richard tells the sliph to sleep again. Richard is able to kill the queen mriswith and all her eggs that she had laid on the Wizard's Keep.

In chapter fifty-three Richard finds a battle being fought, and the D'Haran's are losing because of mriswith that have come through the sliph. Richard tries to fight with his people but there are too many mriswith. Gratch suddenly arrives with an army of...
