Chapter 36-40 Summary

In chapter thirty-six Richard and Bernadine are still making their way through the keep.

Tobias is following the mriswith and someone who calls herself a Sister of the Light. Tobias confides in Lunetta that some of the things that the Creator is telling him lately has him confused. Meanwhile, Richard and Bernadine happen upon a mriswith in the Wizard's Keep that again refers to Richard as a skin brother and asks if he has come to wake the sliph. The mriswith leaves quickly and Richard and Bernadine find a body that has been in the Keep a long time. Richard take the journal that the person had been writing in as he and Bernadine leave the Keep. Once out of the Keep and reunited with his other guards, Richard and the group go back to the Confessor's Palace. One the way...
