The Secret Place

The secret place is an area behind Wes's house where the children of the neighborhood played when they were young. When Liz begins spending time with Wes as a senior, she discovers that he has landscaped the area so that it is now a beautiful, romantic place complete with a fire pit, water feature, lights, and chairs. Liz sets up a romantic encounter here the night of the prom, but winds up embarrassed because Wes shows up with a girl named Alex.
