Chapters 19 and 20 Summary

In Chapter 19, Shaunee wakes Zoey and Stevie Rae because they are going to be late for Erik's performance of his Shakespearean monologue. Erik places first in the competition, which is of 125 contestants from 25 of the House of Night campuses. When he gives his monologue, he speaks directly to Zoey in the audience. When they meet after the performance, Aphrodite walks by and mentions that if Zoey is Erik's Shakespearean character that he may strangle her in her sleep for cheating on him. Erik gives Zoey a new dress for her ritual, which she goes to set up for right after seeing Erik.
