Chapters 17 and 18 Summary

In Chapter 17, when Zoey returns to the dorm, everyone is still talking about the snowball fight. She asks Damien if he ever heard of fledglings that died coming back to life. Zoey tells everyone she saw Elizabeth and then Elliott's ghosts out by the east wall. A news report comes on to announce the second missing football player was found dead in a stream a few blocks from the House of Night. He too died from lacerations and blood loss.

In Chapter 18, Zoey returns to the dorm with Stevie Rae. Stevie Rae and Nala fall asleep. Zoey reads her Soc textbook on bloodlust and imprinting. She also reads that an adult vamp allowing a fledgling to drink her blood, like Neferet allowed Elliott to is prohibited.
