Summary

While the rest of the class went on a field trip, Yunjae stayed at school. When they returned, Yunjae heard a rumor. Someone had stolen "the money that had been collected to buy class snacks" (99). A teacher found half the cash in Gon's backpack. Gon swore he was innocent. No one believed him.

Gon stopped caring about everything. One day when a teacher told him to pay attention, Gon made a scene. When Yunjae tried calming him, Gon cursed him. Dora called Gon "trash" (101). Yunjae could not read her expression. Gon stormed out.
