Summary

At school, Gon began bullying Yunjae for taking his place as his parents' son. No matter what he did, Yunjae never reacted. Everyone knew what was going on, but no one reported the bullying to the teachers. Yunjae wished he could tell Gon he would never get what he wanted from him. Finally, frustrated with Yunjae's apathy, Gon arranged a confrontation "in front of the incinerator" (51). Everyone arrived at the scheduled time. Yunjae passed the incinerator, ignoring Gon. Gon cursed and attacked him. When Yunjae did nothing, Gon kept abusing him.

After the incident, Gon was suspended. Professor Yun arranged a meeting between the boys at a restaurant. Professor Yun apologized profusely. Yunjae said he should leave them alone so Gon could apologize for himself. Alone, Gon scoffed at Yunjae. Yunjae did not care if he apologized. When Gon became volatile, Yunjae began...
