Summary

In Part 1, Nic gets a phone call from her brother, Daniel, early on a Sunday morning. She does not answer the phone, but is curious about why he would be calling at that time of day. She checks the message which says that they need to sale the house to get money, but their father will not sign the papers and that he is not doing well. Later that day, she checks her mail and sees a letter from her father saying that he needs to talk to her and that he had seen that girl. She decides that she is going home.

In Day 1 and Nicolette is ready to leave her apartment. She checks to make sure she has taken everything she needs as she will be gone for two months. She plans to sublet her apartment during that period...
