Chapters 101 - 110 Summary

Maria Mitchell lives in a small house on Vestal Street. They have an interest in astronomy and have an observatory on the roof. Una returns home and goes to the cupola to write a letter to Margaret. When she finishes, she sees the Pequod in the sea approaching the harbor.

Chapter 102 finds Ahab anxious to be home to see Una and the child. He knows they will have another.

In chapter 103, Una goes to meet the ship even though it is pouring rain. She meets Mary Starbuck at the dock and invites them to Heather's Moor but Mary says Starbuck will want to see their son. Una panics and tells Mary to tell Ahab to meet her at home and to tell him the baby died and runs off. Then she runs back to the dock to Ahab.
