Summary

In Chapter 25, Somkit provides Pong with a Junior Patrol club uniform to hide his shaved head and they go to the Light Market. As Somkit predicted, none of the officials spare Pong a second glance. They have to in through an upper floor where the orbs are all jade green, the color usually reserved for motors. Gold orbs are sold only on the West Side. They descend through the floor stocked with red and amber orbs, then the floor with violet orbs. Pong notices a woman offering orbs at half-price and realizes her orbs make a different sound just before going out altogether. The bottom floor is filled with motors powered by jade orbs. Somkit talks to a group of mechanics who apologize they cannot hire Somkit because of his prison record. They trade him some supplies in return for diagnosing a problem...
