Ralibar

Ralibar, a winged creature, is the only thing that saves Gwen from almost certain death after she gives birth to Guwayne in a field. Ralibar seems distraught after Thor leaves and Gwen notes that the creature is no where to be found when King’s Court is attacked.

The Lake of the Sorrows

Where Selese drowns herself at the Lake of the Sorrows. Also, Thor goes there to pray for Gwen’s recovery after she gives birth to Guwayne.

The Shield

The Shield is a barrier that protects the kingdom. It is strong and apparently impenetrable to outside forces. Romulus attacks the Shield with dragons but it withstands the assault. Though she doesn’t complete the task in this book, it appears Luanda will be the key to bringing down the Shield.
