Summary

Chapter 7 begins with Dex and Mosscap coming up to a place where the road has been destroyed and they can go no further. Mosscap apologizes, and Dex begins to pack up some items for them to take to continue along on foot. Mosscap warns Dex against going and talks about how it does not know the terrain ahead, but Dex is insistent that they continue. However, Mosscap reluctantly agrees to join when they see how set on this Dex is. Immediately, Dex begins to realize how much strength will be required for this task to be completed. As they struggle along, it begins to rain and Mosscap suggests they seek shelter, but Dex plows ahead. Mosscap begins to ask them why they are so set on doing this.
