Summary

In Chapter 21, Holly and Nisa return to Ainsley’s office to sign the contract and pay the deposit. Ainsley has them sign a liability waiver in case of physical or psychological trauma at the house (69). Even still, Holly feels excited about their next weeks there.

In Chapter 22, Amanda agrees to join Holly and Nisa at Hill House. Stevie arrives shortly thereafter, joining Holly and Nisa when they move in. On the drive, Stevie reveals what he learned about Hill House’s history online. Holly is skeptical. Nisa and Stevie banter about the setting and the play.
