Summary

In Chapter 64, Fayre realizes that the few moments Nesta spent in the presence of the Cauldron, it had learned that Elain was the most important thing in Nesta's life, which is why it targeted Elain. Azriel announces he is going to retrieve Elain. Fayre shape-shifts into an exact replica of Ianthe, and says she will go with him.

In Chapter 65, Fayre's disguise works and she gains entrance to the camp without a problem. Azriel, as a shadowsinger, is able to move around without anyone really noticing him. When Fayre encounters Jurian, he immediately sees through her disguise, but he helps her keep the secret. Fayre discovers the soldiers are torturing some humans. One girl is still alive. Jurian directs Fayre to the place where Elain is being held, then agrees to help rescue the human girl. Fayre and Azriel have Elain...
