Summary

Chapter 37

Thor and Gwen leave with the rebels, but a frantic messenger suddenly announces that the Destiny Sword has been stolen and the Ring has collapsed. The thieves of the sword have already been caught. They tell everyone that the sword has already been taken into the Empire. Then, they are quickly hanged. Thor's men determine that the sword must be returned somehow, and he volunteers to get it back. Reece, O'Connor, Elden, and the twins all volunteer to go with him. The rest will leave to form a new court away from Gareth. Thor explains to Gwen that he must go as part of his destiny.

King McCloud charges off in search of his son, but spots the imperial army charging in his direction. Andronicus comes to him and McCloud tries to pretend that he let Andronicus in on purpose, but...
