Summary

Chapter 1

Luanda fights her way through a battle towards King McCloud, whom she has decided to kill. Bronson, her husband, spots her and hurries to stop her from doing it. Nevertheless, she reaches the building that king McCloud has entered and goes inside. She finds him assaulting a young girl, and moves to stab him, believing that he is vulnerable and unaware of her presence. McCloud rolls out of the way at the last second and Luanda accidentally stabs the young girl. McCloud strikes her and sends her flying across the room.
