The Castle

This location is the center of government for the town, but is inaccessible to most people, including the main character. The main character notes that the structure is actually unimpressive and shows quite a bit of wear.

The Village

This is the area surrounding the Castle where the common people live. It seems as if this place is almost unlimited in size and the main character travels around only a very small section.

The Bridge Inn

The main character first arrives here. This business is operated by a landlady.

Lasseman's House

When the main character is attempting to climb up to the Castle, he is so wearied by the snow that he stops in here, where a master tanner lives. The inhabitants know him by reputation but are eager to get rid of him.
