Essay Topic 1
Will Navidson is a man with a very disturbed childhood. First, explain the circumstances in which Will lived out his childhood. Then, explain what happened to the members of Will's immediate family, including his parents and siblings. Finally, explain how Will's traumatic childhood has affected the way he treats his own two children.
Essay Topic 2
Lude is the only character that Johnny can keep a consistent relationship with throughout the novel. First, describe Lude, and explain what you think his role in the novel is. Then, explain why Lude might be the only consistent person in Johnny's life and what role he fills in their relationship.
