Joe Spooner

Joe Spooner is Evie's step-father and Beverly's second husband. He dates Beverly and becomes engaged to her shortly before the war. When the two are married, they are featured in Life magazine. During the war, Joe meets up with Peter Coleridge in Austria, where the two discover the large stash of items taken from the Jews before the Jews were taken to concentration camps.
