Chaol Westfall

Chaol is the recently appointed Hand to the King of Adarlan, Dorian Havilliard, who is also his best friend. At 23 years old, he was formerly the Captain of the Royal Guard under the previous king, Dorian’s father. He served loyally for years until recently when he left the guard after the king took control of Dorian’s mind while he was possessed by a Valg. In this time, he reconnected with Nesryn, a former guard and friend, and they helped lead the resistance against Valg in Rifthold. They worked with Queen Aelin Galathynius of Terrasen, Chaol’s former lover, and helped her and Dorian take the throne back from Dorian’s father, who died in this battle.
