Epilogue Summary

Sita arrives at Arturo's home and finds everything she needs in his basement to make herself human again. Sita calls Seymour and tells him her plan. Sita sets everything up and positions herself on the copper sheeting. She closes her eyes and feels the magic as it begins.

When Sita wakes up, she feels strange and different. There is a pounding in her head. There is also someone pounding on the front door upstairs. She groggily makes her way to the front door. When Sita calls out to see who it is, the man responds that it's her darling. She recognizes the voice, but it doesn't sound like Seymour. He tells her to open the door, but she wonders if she should.

Epilogue Analysis

It seems as if Sita has made herself human again, but the novel ends before she confirms this either...
