Part II, Chapter 12 Summary

Yaksha's legs were blown off in the explosion. Eddie found him in the woods and sewed a canvas bag to the bottom half of Yaksha's body. Eddie extracted and drank Yaksha's blood. Yaksha tells Sita she has to defeat Eddie on her own. He also tells Sita a story Krishna told him when they ran into each other again. Yaksha tells Sita that Eddie is interested in her blood so he won't kill her—just as he didn't kill Yaksha. Yaksha tells Sita to drink his blood and take his life. She does.
