Part II, Chapter 3 Summary

Alisa is sitting at her desk thinking of who she can use as a contact to find out if the police found a dead body when investigating the house explosion. Joel calls and Alisa takes this as a sign. She tells him information about the dead bodies in the Coliseum, and that she knows who the murderer is but that he has to come to Portland to talk to her. He agrees and books the next flight into town.

Alisa picks up Joel Drake from the airport. When they get to her car, she pops in a tape of her playing the piano. He is surprised to find out it is Alisa playing. He starts asking her questions about who she is, what she saw and who the murderer is. She tells him it has to do with her...
