Summary

Floyd explains that he had become fixated on Laurel. He then details his own transformation into someone similar to Paul so that Laurel would like him, and by association get to know Poppy. He has done a DNA test and proven that Poppy is not his daughter, so her only real family is Laurel’s family.

Floyd’s video continues to explain that he has accidentally killed Noelle and that her body is buried under a flower bed in his backyard. He leaves it to Laurel to tell the police about it if she wants to. He begs Laurel’s forgiveness for everything that has happened and implores her to walk into her new life with Poppy by her side.

As the video ends, Laurel is overcome with emotion over her daughter’s final months. She cries out and pounds on Floyd...
