Chapters 57-58 Summary

In Chapter 57, Vicary is staring at a map of Britain, trying desperately to figure out where the sub will be meeting the spies. Vicary meets with Boothby, trying to determine the best way to get Vicary to the location during the terrible weather in time. Just then a series of calls are received. Braithwaite informs Vicary about the lurking sub off the coast of Lincolnshire, and an alert policeman has found Mary Dogherty and the bodies of Colville and Sean. Mary does not know where the spies went, but knows they are in a black van.
