Randall Flagg aka Russell Faraday

Randall Flagg is representative of evil and the devil. He is the antagonist of the novel. Flagg has the ability to see into other places by using his third eye. He also can shapeshift. Beyond these magical abilities, Flagg does not appear to have any real power. He controls his people using fear as a motivator. He surrounds himself with people who are as disjointed and as evil as he is. These people, like Trash, are often controlled more by their own evil desires than their loyalty to Flagg.
