Summary

In Chapter 57, Lucy asked Larry to talk to Leo about the way he had regressed since Nadine moved in with Harold. Leo told Larry that the dark man had tricked Nadine and Harold into going west by making them think that he wanted them. Leo also advised Larry that Nadine had intentionally waited until Larry loved Lucy before she told Larry that she was attracted to him. Nadine did this because she wanted to be able to believe that it was Larry who had caused her to go bad. In reality, Leo explained the dark man was interfering with the part of Nadine’s brain that determined right from wrong. During the conversation, Leo insisted that Larry go and talk to Frannie.
