On reading Nuria's letter, Daniel is confronted with the similarities between Julián and Penelope's story and his and Bea's. He rushes over to the Aguilar house, to see Bea. He is met at the door by a furious Tomas. Bea had run away, she was pregnant and no one had heard from her for two days. Her parents and the police were looking all over for her. Tomás had hoped Daniel knew where she was. Tomás is very upset at his old friend and what he had done to Bea. In a rage, he physically attacks Daniel.
