The Dormitory

The dormitory is where Thomas, Teresa, and the other Gladers are taken following their rescue from the Maze. It is also where they are allowed to eat and rest before their next test. The dormitories are clean and quiet. They surround a common area, where food is dispensed. The common area contains a Flat Trans for transportation to the Scorch Trials.

The Desert

The desert is the first part of a series of obstacles to be overcome during the Scorch Trials, which are located in Mexico. The desert borders the mountains, and a city sits upon the desert. The desert is hot and unforgiving, ravaged by a brutal sun and merciless storms.
