Mark Frazier aka Mark Upshaw aka Christophe Vidal

Mark Frazier is one of the three central characters in this novel. Of the three central characters, Mark appears to be the one who is more cocky, self-assured and more willing to take a risk on doing something illegal. He is a student at Foggy Bottom Law School who realizes, with the help of his friend Gordy, that the school has scammed him out of nearly a quarter of a million dollars in student loans. To make matters worse, the lucrative jobs offers he was promised he would receive were not materializing and he feared he had not learned enough from the school to even pass the bar exam.
