Summary

Chapter Fifty-Nine

The Creators were all dressed alike – black jackets over white shirts. There were men and women. They seemed to be interacting with one another. Suddenly, there was an ear-splitting beeping sound. After it stopped, two people entered the room. Thomas thought he knew the woman but couldn’t remember her name. The other person was a boy with his hoodie nearly covering his face.

The woman welcomed the Gladers back. She was impressed that after two years only a few were dead. Newton voiced his disagreement. Everything had gone according to plan, she told him. The woman pulled the hoodie down and revealed that the boy was Gally. Minho was angry and demanded to know who she was. She commented that she thought he’d be more mature having passed the Maze Trials. Newt asked Gally what was going on but...
