Summary

Chapter Fifty-One

Alby didn’t trust Thomas since he’d helped design the place. He suspected that Thomas was sent there to kill them all. Thomas reminded him that he’d risked his life to save him and that he had subjected himself to an attack from the Grievers to rescue everyone. Alby said that they can’t go back to their old lives. He saw what they were like during the Changing. Alby admitted that he had burned the Maps. He slammed his head on the table to make it look like someone else had started the fire. He saw images of his old life in a burned land with disease. It was called the Flare. The Flare was worse than the Glade.
