Summary

Chapter Forty-One

Thomas told Teresa he’d be back. He had to find Newt. Maybe some of the maps were salvaged. When he arrived at the Map Room, Newt was surrounded by Gladers including Minho and was leaning down by someone on the ground. It was Alby, flat on his back. There was a huge gash in his forehead. He was bleeding badly. Newt thought maybe Gally set the maps on fire before he was whisked away by a Griever. Thomas told Minho and Newt that he and Teresa had a theory about the Maze that they needed to talk with them about.

Thomas, Newt and Minho went to the Slammer and after much coaxing by Thomas, Teresa was let out. They related how Teresa had the thought that the Maze was a code when she was coming out of her coma. Unfortunately...
