Summary

Chapter Twenty-Five

The room was frozen in silence. Thomas was stunned by Minho’s recommendation. Gally finally voiced his disagreement. In fact, he said, Minho should be removed from the Council for making such a ridiculous recommendation. Everyone began talking at once – some agreed with Minho and some disagreed. Newt quieted everyone down. Newt asked Minho to elaborate on his reasons for the strange recommendation.

Minho referred to his experience as a Runner and someone who had actually been out there as opposed to everyone else on the Council. The only reason Gally was out there was because he’d broken the same rule that he was blaming Thomas for breaking. He called Gally a hypocrite.
