Summary

Chapter 43

The room begins to fill with a black water, while Piper prays for some kind of miracle. She knows that their weapons aren’t going to be effective against the nymphs. She thinks back to when she was little and her father told her a story about a lake and a dog. In the story, the dog could speak and told his owner that one day the water will rise and flood the area. His owner could build a raft to escape, but he’d have to sacrifice the dog. As the story went on, it was revealed that the dog was already dead. The flood came and the man escaped with his family. Once he was safe, he could see the remains of all the ghosts.
