Summary

Chapter 5

Once Leo awakes he appears to be normal. The group questions him again trying to figure out what happened, believing that Octavian had to be behind the attack. Leo dismisses that, taking responsibility for firing on the city. He says he doesn’t know why he did it, just that he felt a strange cold sensation before suddenly finding himself compelled to fire on New Rome. While this is going on, the group has to scan for materials to repair the ship as it had taken some damage when fleeing from Camp Jupiter.

The group decides that it would be safer for them if they all split up and went looking for supplies. Having more than three demigods in an area was risky because it could attract unwanted attention from monsters and other dangers. Frank still seems untrusting of Leo, something which...
