Point of View

The novel is told through third-person omniscient narration and does not vary from this perspective. The omniscient narration allows the reader to know the thoughts behind the actions of multiple characters in the novel. Primarily, however, the author chooses to focus on Laura and Eunice with both women driving their parallel stories.
