Point of View

This novel's use of varying points of view is at the forefront of its structure, as it features three different protagonists whose stories are woven together by switching perspectives every chapter. This cycle is consistent throughout the book, starting with Jordan, then Ian, and then finishing with Nina before going back to Jordan, with the exception of a few chapters toward the end. These shifts in perspective not only allow to reader to get an understanding of the lives of three very different people, but also craft a larger narrative by weaving the stories of these different characters together, demonstrating that their lives are in fact intertwined.
