Summary

After Jordan leaves, Ian tells Tony he "should have known [he'd] beeline for the first pretty girl to cross [his] path in this chase" (359). Tony defends himself saying it will likely distract her from the fact that Tony is snooping around the shop more then he should be. The two agree that they like having little Ruth around, and when Ian tells Tony not to break Jordan's heart, he pushes back by bringing up the fact that it appears Ian is falling in love with his wife, whether he wants to admit it or not.
