Summary

Claymore took Burly’s truck. He hoped the cops wouldn’t think he killed Burly. He recalled Alabaster’s question: “What happens if someone finds a way to stop death?” (213) He called the phone number that Alabaster had given him. When Alabaster answered Claymore told him that his sister was trying to kill him. Alabaster told him to come immediately to the address on the sheet of paper.
