Whispers In A Bedroom Summary

Jesse wants Daneel gone and Lije off the case because of Daneel being a robot. Jesse is afraid of public backlash against her family; Lije says she is childish. Their family would lose everything if Lije resigned in the middle of a case. Jessie accuses Lije of being Enderby's lackey for years, and Lije says he does not mind letting Enderby deal with the Spacers, with whom Enderly is comfortable and they trust him. Lije is quite content with his position, although it is always nice to have a promotion and a guaranteed seat on the expressway. Daneel has left the apartment and will not be back until tomorrow. He can finally sleep, and is not worried about anything.
