Epilogue Summary

Bourne is in a hospital recovering from his wounds, both mental and physical. St. Jacques is speaking with the doctor and General Crawford. They tell her Bourne's real name is David Webb. He was a Foreign Service officer in Asia. They tell her about Medusa and about how David Webb lost his wife and two children. This is why he became Delta. The real Jason Bourne was a career criminal from Australia. He betrayed Delta and nearly got him killed.

Carlos is still on the loose. Bourne is the only man who knows what he looks like. However, it is locked in his mind. The only thing he remembers is that Carlos is a public figure known to many people. Bourne will receive government protection for life, and whatever he needs. They hope his memory will come back to him.
