Point of View

The point of view of the novel is third person. It is told in the viewpoint of several characters. The viewpoint switches from chapter to chapter. Dr. Kate Warner, a geneticist, is researching how to cure autism. She comes upon a cure that could activates a gene in the human DNA that the Immari have been searching for since 1918. Her thoughts and feelings about the children in her care and the tragedies in her life are shown through her eyes. David Vale, an intelligent agent, is trying to uncover the secrets behind the Immari Corporation with Kate’s help he discovers there plan to cause a global genocide and attempt to kill the Atlanteans.
